The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men s cross country team finished in 15th place out of contingent of 43 teams at the ECAC Division III Championship Meet on Saturday.

On Saturday, USMMA women s cross country sophomore Mary Catherine Zehnder competed in the ECAC Championship Meet, hosted by Westfield State College in Massachusetts.

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point men s and women s cross country teams competed in the Landmark Conference Championship Meet, hosted by Goucher College, on Saturday and the Mariner men finished in third place at the event.

Freshman Daniel MacElrevey was selected by the conference coaches as the 2014 Landmark Rookie of the Year, while sophomore Daniel Wolfer earned a spot on the Second Team All-Landmark Conference.

Sophomore Mary Catherine Zehnder and freshman Cassandra Pederson both ran personal bests in the 5K race at the Landmark Championship Meet on Saturday.

The Mariner's men raced this past weekend at Sunken Meadow Park in the 15th Annual St. Joseph s College Cross Country Invitational and placed second out of 29 teams.

Kaylee Kilbert (Canfield, OH) finished 28th out of 230 runners this past weekend at the 15th Annual St.Joseph s College Cross Country Invitational.

The women s cross country team competed this past week at the College of Staten Island Invite.

The United States Merchant Marine Academy Men s Cross Country team placed first this past weekend at the College of Staten Island Invite.

The men s cross country team raced this past weekend at the Fordham Fiasco Invitational at Van Courtlandt Park in the Bronx.
